What type of equipment do you use?

I currently use Windows 11 with Serato DJ software. I also provide a back-up laptop. My audio mixer is a Gemini PMX-20 Digital Audio Mixer. I also use Shure wireless microphones and Mackie 450 power speakers.

Do we get a contract/agreement? Is there a retainer required?

Once you book with DJ Rick, you will receive a contract that outlines your total cost and event details. A retainer of 10% of the event total is due with the signed contract. Your event will be considered “booked” upon receipt of the signed contract and the deposit. Final payment is due no later than one week prior to the date of the event.

How long does it take to set up?

I always try to arrive at the venue at least two hours before the scheduled start time. This allows plenty of time for sound checks. Set up normally takes about 30 minutes.

Can we have input on our music for our event?

Absolutely! You can have as input as you want music selection for your event.
